Call it a hunch, but if you need, say, 24 napkins for the party, you probably don't want 24 people to bring one napkin each. If your sign up quantities don't look the way you expected, there is a simple fix.
When you enter the Number Wanted for a slot, you are choosing the number of people you want to sign up for the item. For example, if you want one person to bring 24 napkins, your slot should read "24 pack of napkins" with a Number Wanted of one selected. If you choose a Number Wanted of 24, you are actually allowing 24 people to sign up for that slot.
To edit a slot, log in to your account and go to the Created sign ups area. Click the pencil icon next to the sign up you wish to edit.
From the Slots tab, locate the slot for which you wish to edit the quantity. In the example below, notice that the sign up format is Sort by Date and slots are listed in the right column. Click the pencil icon next to the slot and choose Edit this slot only.
You can change the number wanted or make any other changes to that entry and the changes will only impact that specific slot.
Scroll to the end of the page and click Save to update the sign up.
